Did you record this on a dictaphone? The background is louder than the people you're talking to.
Yes, they do record on a dictaphone.
The Hemming pubcast was recorded late in the evening in a relatively peaceful Commons bar, and so it came out very clearly.
This pubcast was in St Stephen's Tavern during primetime drinking, and so it's not quite so good.
Just remember, they are not audio professionals and they are usually drunk :)
Jake Rigg is a very quiet spokesman.
Its a state of the art USB digital dictaphone - but it does fit in your pocket.
Clarity = sobriety.
If you think the background's bad on this one, wait till you hear the featherstone
grrr.
